From the perspective of freight forwarder, this paper expounds the basic procedures of bulk cargo import transportation

1. After receiving the inquiry from the customer, when the customer inquires about the chartering transportation, he should understand the following problems from the customer.

(1) Mode of transportation;

(2) Port of shipment and port of discharge;

(3) The name and quantity of the goods;

(4) Loading rate and unloading rate;

(5) Waterlines at loading and unloading ports;

(6) Estimated time of transportation;

(7) Name of client, contact person, telephone, telex, e-mail, fax, etc.

After knowing these information, the company will inform the customers of the freight of the charterer as soon as possible, as well as the cost of customs declaration and consignment at the port.

2. Know the loading and unloading time of users

After signing the transportation agency and customs declaration agreement with the user, inform the user in advance according to the arrival time of the ship at the unloading port, and provide the required copies of the full set of customs declaration documents.

3. Time limit of import declaration: declare within 14 days from the date of declaration of the means of transport entering the country. If the overdue declaration fee is collected by the customs certificate, and the tax is not paid within 14 days after the tax receipt is issued, the customs will collect the overdue fine.

4. Inspection application procedures: inspection application - payment of commodity inspection fee - entry exit customs clearance form - water gauge measurement - Sampling Test - quality certificate

Customs declaration procedures: Declaration - Inspection - taxation - release - customs clearance

5. Customs declaration and inspection documents

Inspection application documents: Inspection authorization, inspection application form, contract, invoice, foreign draft weight sheet, quality certificate.

Customs declaration documents: copies of declaration power of attorney, declaration form, contract, invoice, weight form, commodity inspection and customs clearance form, insurance policy and letter of credit.
